You asked, I answered.
Hi all! Thank you so much for taking the time to send me some questions that you would love to know about me. You guys sent in so many that I can't answer them all, but if you want to know anything more about me, please comment it below!
What made you want to start blogging?
I have such an amazing audience on Instagram (thank you all!!) and I wanted to expand upon what I post on there. I get a lot of messages asking me questions, and I felt like a blog would help me provide longer and more informative posts for you all!
What is your favorite food?
Hmmmm... Good question! I love healthy foods for some weird reason, so fruits and veggies are at the top of my list. For fruit, I have to go with peaches. And veggies, I could absolutely devour those delicious veggie trays with the ranch sauce.
What is your favorite makeup?
I tend to not wear much makeup in general. I like to keep things pretty natural! BB Cream is great because it is so light on the skin and still looks natural. I wear black mascara and tinted chapstick, as well. I will wear more when I am dressing up to go out, but that is usually my go to!
What's your biggest dream?
My biggest dream has been to travel the world. There is so much to learn and so much to see, and I want to keep growing as a person. I have started traveling a lot more lately and go on about 3-4 trips a year, but that doesn't even seem to be enough for me! I have a map where I scratch off every country I've been to and it is a constant reminder that I have many more to go.
To what do you attribute most of your style?
I am all about being comfortable. If you see me in a pair of heels, hell must be freezing over (or I'm at a wedding). Oversized sweaters or bikinis are my go-to, depending on the season, of course! I like being natural, comfy, and totally myself.
Are you doing it yourself or do you have help?
When it comes to the posts on social media and blogs, I do it all myself. If I work with a company, I have a manager who helps sort through everything and find the brands that fit with me the best and remains the contact for the brands. I also work with amazing photographers that capture all of the gorgeous photos!
How do I get into modeling/blogging like you?
I get this question a lot. I took a very unconventional route with modeling, so my advice is usually pretty different than what most people hear. I am short (5'4") so traditional modeling was not an easy avenue for me. I decided to focus on social media. I started taking pictures of my travels and the brands that I loved to wear (without any sort of sponsorships) and eventually the brands started using those photos themselves. This helped me grow and made other brands interested in working with me. Once I was modeling on Instagram with companies a lot, it branched out into modeling gigs outside of Instagram, as well!
I hope this helped you get to know me a little better, and I would love to answer any more questions that you may have!
