IMG_8848.JPG I know most of you know I am from Chicago, but that’s not EXACTLY true. See, when you live in the Chicagoland area and people hear you say you’re from Chicago when you are actually from the suburbs you get a lot of crap. So to be totally accurate, I’m from the ‘burbs of Chicago. So when I got a chance to spend the weekend in the city for Saint Patrick’s Day at the Hyatt Centric in the Loop it took me about two seconds to say YES PLEASE! FD80D854-1784-45E4-86B4-D99A759BED7F.JPG If you didn’t already know, Saint Patrick’s Day is a big deal in Chicago. We even dye our river bright green. The streets are filled with people and the drinks are continuously flowing. It is a fun, and crazy, time. But knowing I’d have a nice hotel room to escape to made it seem like I could handle the crazy. IMG_8858 Little did I know it would be THIS nice. I walked into the room and was in complete awe. I did not expect to walk into a separate entryway, living room, bedroom and bathroom all in a corner suite. It was one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in yet! IMG_8855 Even if you don’t splurge for a suite at the Hyatt, I would still highly recommend it. The location is perfect and you can walk to so many places (like the river and Magnificent Mile, along with any food you could ever want). Also, the service was great. They were on top of everything and felt us feel right at home. It’s also very secure – you need a keycard to get to your floor, and those on other floors can’t get to yours. If you are ever on a trip to Chicago, definitely check out the Hyatt Centric in the Loop!
