Recently I needed to get a new eye exam to potentially update my prescription and get new contacts. Since I spend almost all my shopping time at Target as it is, booking an appointment through Target Optical® just made sense.
One of my least favorite part about scheduling appointments is the fact that I have to call. I am STILL at the stage where phone calls are not fun and wish I was still a kid and could have someone else call for me. But then I saw Target Optical® allows you to book online… SOLD.
Booking an appointment was so easy!
1. Go to Target and hover over Eye Exams. A menu will appear where you can enter your location to find a location near you.
2. Once you enter your location, you will be taken to a page with the nearest locations listed and shown on a map.
3. Once you click on “Schedule an eye exam†you will be taken to the page below. Fill out your personal information (which surprisingly isn’t much and can be done quickly) and choose your appointment.
4. Just hit “Book exam†and you’re done! That’s it – only four steps.
The booking process was so smooth, I expected something to go wrong somewhere. It can’t be that easy. But when I got to the location and waited only a few minutes for my exam, I realized I might be wrong. I was in and out of there with a prescription in hand for new contacts. I am SO ready to get my new ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses!
These lenses are known to be great for sensitive eyes. I am always out and about in so many different environments during my day, so I need lenses I can wear all day without a problem. I’m excited to try the ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses out and see if they live up to the hype.

I go to the eye doctor yearly and I don’t look forward to the experience at all! Target optical seems like it makes the experience smooth. I will have to check them out. They also have cute specs!

This all seems so easy and practical. I don’t need glasses or lenses yet, but I do recognize myself in your story. I just asked my mom the other day if she could call the doctor and her reply was "No, Thomas, I stopped doing that 20 years ago". I felt semi ashamed and made the call myself, haha. :)Thomas xx

Looks like Target has great Optical services, and I haven’t tried the ACUVUE brand. I use the daily contacts and love them because at the end of the day I just toss them.

It actually makes me sooo sad that we no longer have Target here in Canada. I absolutely love Target! unfortunately the one here sucked and just wasn’t anything compared to the one you guys have 🙁
